Welcome to the Servicing Department of District Council 5.  As a member of DC 5 you have a trained staff that will answer important questions that may arise as well as having Business Representatives who work for you to handle disputes, negotiate contracts, attend business meetings, and assisting in maintaining local area standards.  All members should feel free to call the District Council or a Business Representative with any question or problem, no matter how small it may seem. We work for you and strive to give you the most accurate answer that we can.

Every member has a voice in our Union, be it at union meetings or in the field alongside our other brothers and sisters.  Every union depends on its members to be active in Local functions, organizing activities, political actions and most of all on the jobsite.

Remember….. Drywall Finishers, Carpet Layers, Glaziers, Painters, Sign/Display, Shipyard Workers, Traffic Stripers, and more all work in the same organization as you.  They are the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades….. Your Union!
