Glaziers, Architectural Metal and Glassworkers Local 740 was chartered in Portland, Oregon in 1911. Today the Local includes members working as Outside Glaziers as well as  In-plant Glassworkers.

Local 740’s jurisdiction covers all of Oregon and SW Washington, which includes Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania, and Klickitat counties.
