Local 1236

Linoleum, Carpet and Soft Tile Applicators Local 1236 is located in Portland, OR.  We represent craftsmen in the entire State of Oregon and 5 southern counties in Washington.  Our members install Carpet, Vinyl, Wood and Laminate Flooring, Window Coverings, Artificial Turf, and many other flooring related products. 

Our Local is open to craftsmen of all skill levels, from an entry level installer wanting an apprenticeship opportunity to someone with multiple years of residential experience wanting to become more accomplished in commercial installations.  We offer both apprenticeship classes and journey level skill upgrade classes.
